Flawless toes the line between cautionary tale and teen romp in a way that is both intriguing and endearing. Meet Eden, a transgender girl who has recently transferred to a different high school. Her two new friends, Mika and Keshet, believe the key to their happiness involves traveling to Kiev to sell their kidneys in exchange for cosmetic surgery. Eden feels compelled to accompany them, viewing this as the only way to get the surgery she desires to affirm her gender. This film examines both the light and dark side of the lives of the modern teenager and takes it’s audience along for the ride of their life.
