Please join us for a special afternoon with Gili and Hedva Goldschmidt, a modern Orthodox couple professionally involved in the Israeli cinema and television scene. The Goldschmidts will showcase the transition the Israeli film and t.v. world went through – from a male dominated, secular – based world to a multicultural, multi-ethnic scene. The afternoon will include clips of films and the television hit series about Orthodox Jews, “Srugim” and “Shtisel.” They will highlight the shift in filmmaking to include films made about and with “minorities” – religious Jews, Arabs, Sephardic Jews, Russians, and Ethiopians.

The afternoon will include brunch before the presentation and dessert afterwards with a chance to greet our guest speakers Gili and Hedva Goldschmidt.
