A seasoned nurse works at a children's health clinic in Halisa, a struggling, multi-ethnic neighborhood of Haifa. Caring for other peoples' babies during the day, while privately enduring years of fertility treatments and the quiet ache of wanting a child of her own.
When a very young mother arrives with her infant, the bond between the two women deepens into something intensely personal. As the young mother spirals and the nurses longing grows harder to contain, an unthinkable "solution" takes shape, forcing her toward a moral line she cannot unsee, and a decision that could change both of their lives.
Join us at 5:30 for some pre-screening light bites next door at Nana's Kitchen on 109 N. Narberth Ave. Narberth, PA 19072.
