Echo comes to us from writer/director duo Amikam Kovnir and Assaf Snir. Anver (Yoram Toledano) is a husband who is struggling with the feeling that his marriage has become strained. In order to find out if his wife, Ella (Yael Abecassis), is faithful to him he begins to secretly record her conversations. His pursuit of truth turns to obsession as the recording reveal that the person that he married is an utter stranger. Echo is a gripping depiction of a family torn asunder that forces us to ask one of the hardest questions about our own deep, long-standing relationships. What is the difference between what we know and what we think we know?
